New Entry Approval Process Introduced

From 15 March 2021, 9am, all applications for entry for the following pass holders (including those on In-Principle Approval or Letter of Consent) must be submitted through the Safe Travel Office's (STO)

From 15 March 2021, 9am, all applications for entry for the following pass holders (including those on In-Principle Approval or Letter of Consent) must be submitted through the Safe Travel Office's (STO) SafeTravel portal:

  • Employment Pass holders and their dependants
  • S Pass holders and their dependants
  • Personalised Employment Pass holders (with employers) and their dependants
  • Entrepass holders (with Corppass) and their dependants

Work Permit, Training Work Permit and S Pass holders in the Construction, Marine shipyard and Process sectors who are not entering Singapore with their dependants and all other pass holders must continue to request for MOM’s entry approval.

With this new STO eService, you can submit for a family in a single application if all of them spend the last 14 days in the same countries/regions before entering Singapore, and will arrive and stay together.

You can also find out instantly if your chosen date of entry is available.

Once you have found an available entry date, fill in the required details and make full payment online. As you will need to pay upfront, make sure your pass holder’s arrival date and travel itinerary are confirmed before you apply for their entry. Approval will be granted instantly.

If your pass holder has already received MOM’s approval to enter but needs to change the travel date, you will need to cancel the entry approval. After the cancellation is approved, you can submit a new entry application using this link, or the STO’s SafeTravel portal if it is made from 15 March 2021.

Important Note

  • MOM will continue to receive and process entry requests until 12 March 2021, 6pm.
  • If you plan to apply for entry approval for Work Permit, Training Work Permit and S Pass holders in the Construction, Marine shipyard and Process sectors who are entering Singapore without their dependants after 12 March 2021, 6pm, please do so from 12 March 2021, 8pm using the new form on the MOM website.
